hormone levels
Is it a bad sign that youre hormone levels dont double and only go up a little bit?im only 7weeks today!
My doctor said not to be surprised if we couldn't see/hear a hb until 7 wks, so don't lose hope yet!
Levels should double at least every 72 hours at about 8-12 weeks they start to slow and double usually every 96 hours.
did she try to find the heartbeat with an ultrasound or fetal monitor? the monitor wont hear the hb untill about 12 weeks. sometimes it is also hard to see with an u/s for a couple more weeks. not to worry you, but the hormone levels only raising a little isn't good. they dont slow down untill about12 - 16 weeks. but it may not mean anything. specifically, how much did they raise? don't worry. everything will be ok.
