how overdue can you be?

I am due in 4 days.  Dilated to 1 and 60% effaced.  What are the chances I will deliever in the next few days?  So far the longest overdue in here that I have seen is 9 days, how far can you actually go overdue?

My first was 10 days late, they were going to induce on a Tuesday (memorial day was Monday) she had other plans and came on Sunday. She was 36+ hours of labor ending in an emergency situation born via c-section. 8lbs 7 oz 20 inches.

most drs won't let you go more then 10 days over now.  it just depends on your situation and your dr.

I went 12 days with my son!! My induction date was set for the next day but I already went into labour. At that point I had an appointment like almost every day and had to get an ultrasound to make sure there was enough fluid. They start to get worried about the placenta and merconium too!

You can go for a few weeks before the baby will get too big. I've heard of 2 weeks over due and they delivered naturally. Most doctors will induce before you go that long.
