I feel for you it's horrible
I had the same thing, and I just kept cocoa butter on it, and it kept it at bay until it went away. But I also had another incident where I went on vacation with the hubby, and my mil watched my dogs. Got home and was covered in red itchy bumps, turns out she let them outside and they got bad fleas so I was covered in bites in several areas. Could be either. I kept putting calamine on the bites TIL they went away
yes I will definitely point it out. I did look it up but I didnt see anything about it spreading to others?
I think pregnancy makes women some what of a hypocondriact, I know I always thought something was wrong every ach and pain with my first now I try and relax and just look it up or ask a friend befor I hassel my dr lol..i would say ur rash prly isnt anything serious and just point it out at ur next apt. Unless you have other symptoms develope befor then.
thanks. I was thinking the poor lil puppy made me have a reaction. I also thought it was something more serious that has something to do with the liver and bile.
I googled it after my last comment because I couldnt remember the name of the rash and it was driving me nuts! Here is what it said;
Approximately one percent of women will develop an itchy, raised rash in the last part of their pregnancy called PUPPP (pruritic uticarial pupules and placques of pregnancy), also known as polymorphic eruption of pregnancy. According to the American Academy of Dermatology it is the most common skin condition of pregnancy, usually appearing during the third trimester, and, although the discomfort and itching may keep you up at night, PUPPP is harmless to both you and your baby.
I had what sounds like the same thing my last pregnancy it was in my last month. It almost looked like a heat rash but the bumps were a little bigger anyway my dr called it something very scientific but in lamons terms "pregancy rash" she told me I could use cortazone cream and could take bennedryl if the itching got out of hand I sont remember how much she had me take so you may want to call and see how much is recommended during pregnancy. Hope this helps I know it was very uncomfortable!
