kidney infection??
Has anyone ever had a kidney infection while pregnant... if so what are some signs?
I had a kidney infection 2 weeks ago, i thought it was contractions cause i was 38 weeks i had lower back pain. And abdominal pain also for 2 days and the thrid day i start to have chills and vomiting so i had to go to L&D and told me that my baby's heart rate was pretty high, they put me on IV and was there for 4 days :( i feel better now and glad my baby is ok :) 41 weeks today
I had severe back pain, between where butt starts and back of ribs. but knew it wasn't a muscle/bone that hurt. also, spotting/blood when wiping after pee.
they are a bladder infection left untreated, I get them ALL the time when I'm pregnant early on. I lost 2 early babies after I had kidney infections. I had one this last pregnancy I caught when it was just a bladder infection at 5wk, but ended up losing the baby at 17wks. not sure if there's a connection.
