it really really is for the best... and a cute kitten like that will be looked after, im sure it wont have any troubles finding a home
i think a new home would be easier now then when the cat is older... and i know its cute, fluffy and you love it but giving it back will be so much easier and less stressful then keeping it... and you dont have to listen to your BF complain about it constantly cause ya know thats not annoying!! lol
the hubby said he has to go... but i know its for the best
yea im setiously thinking this one is guna have to be rehomed... but atleast the lady i got him from is understanding and said she will take him back and find him a home... he is so beautiful it wont take long for him to find a home.. he is a snow shoe mix... he is stubborn and not scared of anything..he loves to jump all over everything no matter how much u try to keep him down...i cant put him out bc my outside cat absolutly hates him
kittens are a lot harder to train then an older cat as curiousity gets the best of them most of the time... i think it would be easier to get rid of the kitten when its still little and cute, i know it sounds mean but i guarantee you that need to nuture will be filled 1000% when your baby arrives, and your kitten will start to add some uneccessary stress as EVERYTHING it does wrong will be your fault/problem as your BF has made it clear he doesnt want it... i know all about that! i have a cat that my BF hates and if i could get rid of him i would lol but he meows A LOT and no one would want that and he is very submissive and wouldnt last a day as a outdoor cat as the kittens outside intimidate him! So im keeping him to the end now...and i am super lucky! because he is so submissive he puts up with anything my daughter does and would never scratch her!!! she can be pretty rough at times and he just looks at me and meows like "help me" i do teach her whats appropriate and not and she is getting better but most cats would not put up with that!
I was thinking about those cat/animal deflectors that you plug in and it keeps cats/animals away from your garbage cans or where ever you put it and id be curious if you could find something simular for inside that you could put in the babys room to help teach that that room is off limits before baby arrives... also my cat isnt allowed on furniture or in our bedroom so when we set up the baby room he didnt even think twice about staying away but he was a cat when we moved in with my BF so it wasnt hard to teach him his limitations and he was never a cat to jump up on stuff so i dont think he would ever jump in the crib.... he prefers to stay down on the ground...
I know this sounds harsh but my cat was my baby and i loved him like my own but now that i have a baby and another on the way my prioritys have changed and my cat has been replaced with my real baby... im still a huge animal lover dont get me wrong he is looked after and cared for but if i had someone else that i trusted would look after him the same, if not better id definitely give him away in a heartbeat
and its not just the portable crib thats in my room but i have a play pen basinet combo that he trys to play in .. so far he hasnt messed with the one thats in the nursery that i know of.. he climbs all over everything even my glide rocker.. plus he is starting to scratch the baby furniture :/
i finally caught him playin in it this am when i got up to use the bathroom from sleeping.. he does it while im asleep..he really isnt scared of anything that i have found yet.. shutting him out dont help bc he is so small he can fit under doors
The water bottle works, there are covers you can buy to put over it. If there is anything that scares the kitten then put that in the crib. My dog is scared of paper bags so if I want to keep her away from something I put a paper bag on or near it and she stays away.
yea i dont clean his box.. my dr said to use feline pine bc its natural litter... but sadly im almost certain i will have to rehome him
Stay away from the kitty litter, and be careful because its very harmful to you. And your baby. Also. Watch because they step in the cat litter, so his paws have it on them.
my husband is pushing for me to get rid of him...he doesnt tolerate that at all...i just got the kitten for christmas but if it comes down to it my baby def comes 1st before a cat
Water spray it lol I do it to my cat its painless xxxx also get a net to put over the crib xxxx im sure kitty will get bored soon xxxx good luck xxxx
