knowing the difference betweem water leaking or just pee accident?
Tmi... I'm 33+3 with my second baby. I've been having really frequent braxton hicks since last night. I get pressure and then pain low down in my abdomen and then feel like using the bathroom. I've been peeing way more than usual. And a few times today I noticed a slight trickle of fluid after I got pressure and pain. There wasn't any gushes or even a significant amount but I didn't feel it come out which makes me question if it was just pee or my waters leaking? I've never had this happen with My first pregnancy. Just wondering if you ladies know anything about it just to ease my mind. I guess I'm just concerned cuz the pressure has been pretty intense and I can't get comfortable with the back pain. Moving at all brings on more pain and pressure. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Yea. I'm at l & d . it doesn't look like my water is leaking but my doctor said because I'm dialated it means that some fluid is passing through the.membrane. but I haven't ruptured so its good
Mine didnt have a smell or anything an i had my dr check an she did a test an said its watery discharge an very normal but she also said its a good thing i said something cuz if it was a leak also if it a leak it wont stop leaking
If your concerned call l and d as you could end up having preterm labor and could get an infection if its your water
Turns out I am a centimeter dialated. They're giving me shots to stop labor and steroids to mature my baby's lungs in case they can't stop it. If I get out of here today I'm on bed rest... Glad I called today.. I would've just gone on thinking its normal
I have a regular appointment on Monday. I guess if it continues to happen I'll try and go in sooner. Its been about 24 hours and I'm still getting pressure and pain and can't sleep...
I couldn't really get any smell from it. But I do drink a lot of water so maybe it could've just been pee. Just concerned me cuz I don't even have accidents when I cough or sneeze so it's all new to me. Thanks for your response.
