low HCG levels

So I am 5 weeks preg and I have had 2 miscarriages in the past so this time around they wanted to take my HCG levels every 48 hours the first time i went they were a low 210,then 218 and they told me i was 99.9% going to miscarry again but then i went back on monday ( my last test was on a thursday ) and they went up to 550? they are not doubling but are rising I also started to bleed a little over the weekend has anyone else ever been through this or had such low levels at 5 weeks im reading they should be in the thousands but im really hoping since they are going up that everything will work out I went again today for blood and will find out by tomorrow if the levels rose at all and if so they are going to start me on progesterone someone please tell me some good news or the truth i need some good advice

the bleeding isnt that bad ive lost two babies in the past and its alot less blood than before my progesterone levels are low too i think 4 the first time then they went up to 6.5

well they dont actually need to double, the need to rise by 60% every 2 days, hcg levels do vary from pregnancy to pregnancy and women to women, the levels also have to start somewhere as well they just dont start in there thousands so as long as they go up by 60% next bloods everything should be fine. Progesterone only works if thats low, if your going to miscarry due to other reasons it will not save the pregnancy, has your bleeding settled down, alot of women have  differnt types of bleeding early on as well and go on to have healthy pregnancies as well  good luck
