Does anyone know why you're not suppose to use lube when you're pregnant?

Okay. We do use water based I thought you weren't suppose to use any in general. Thanks :)

It's not just during pregnancy, oil based lube causes infections anyways. I'd use water based all the time but I'm prone to bladder infections and uti's.

They say not to use oil based lubes because it can cause preterm labor. But water based are fine:)

My obgyn recomeneded me to use lube for sex, and my lamaze instructor suggested i massage my vagina with lube to help make labor easier, so i dont think you cant use it when pregnant, i have used like they recomended & am perfectly fine & baby.

Use a non scented water based lube that way u dont run the chance of getting an infection or makining it irritable.

My obgyn said its completely safe to use while pregnant because some women tend to be more dry then others.
