multiples...

So this is probably a really stupid question, but if I don't ask it, I will just keep on wondering....so....

If twin or multiples DON'T run in either family, is it still possible to carry twins? Without the help of fertility drugs. I would love to have multiples, I just didn't know if there was a chance at all. If anyone knows, that would be great. Thank you!

i'm sure you can. my twins are probably because twins do run rampant through both sides of my family. in fact my brothers are fraternal twins....my grandma was an identical twin as was her grandma. we have it dated (with how many twins are on each side of the family) back to 1850 so far....and whew i never knew those people had so many kids!

Yes, you can have multiples! If your ovary releases two eggs, or if both ovaries release an egg, you can have twins. Also, identical twins are from one egg that splits. So it is definitely possible!
