nearly there

i was told the 20 week scan is the most accurate but can it be off by two weeks or more?

congrats on ur boy I cant wait to have another baby 4 more months to go before sugery. TR there going to take the clamps off yeah.

as far as I know  from my doctor , 18 weeks is the earliest time they will be able to see for sure if it is a boy or a girl . And usually when you have the ultrasound the doctor tells you if the due date should be changed  ( if it is  more than 7days difference between what the ultrasound shows and the initial due date) . hope this helps . I was told that the earliest ultrasound you have is the most accurate.  They tried telling me I was 8 weeks - I told them no - they sent me for an u/s - I was correct - I was only 6w3d.  So if this is your first u/s then there is a chance that the dates could be off.  I've been told that a baby can measure anywhere from 2 weeks ahead to 2 weeks behind at the 20 week u/s...

to tell if its a boy or girl?
well my 20 wk scan isnt until july 29th and this past saturday i was in the ER and they did an ultrasound ....looked pretty clear to the ultrasound tech and me im expecting a lil boy !
