You're not alone!  It's miserable, really, truly miserable, and I had no idea it would be so awful until I was experiencing it with my first one.  Everyone is different and though mine eased up after around 19-20 weeks, I still have many days of it through the entire 9 months.  The thing is, this is my 3rd pregnancy, so that tells you it IS worth it!  And you eventually will forget how bad it is.  It won't last forever, though it seems like just getting through each day is an accomplishment.  I had to accept that I had to SLOW down my entire life and just get through every moment as it came.

Keep SOMEthing on your stomach at all times--never let yourself get hungry.  Also, peppermint gum and COLD water has helped me at times.  I'm also on the prescription med, Zofran, for nausea.  It really takes the edge off so I can at least be a functional person (you know, not laying around on the floor, drooling and sweating from feeling so sick).

I hope yours will be gone soon.

I'm being pregnant twice and I started to feel sick before I knew I was pregnant. My sickness lasted in both cases the whole nine months and didn't stop any time during the day. I even had to take calcium tablet for sleep because of the pain. I didn't feel like vomiting though so I guess that wasn't as bad. I don't know if where you live you can get from the pharmacy some kind of calcium tables (like Rennie) they really help and you can have up to 6 per day cos doesn't hurt the baby. Ask your doctor though to be sure.

Morning sickness is terrible to deal with, Im sorry that you are going through it. Mine started at about 7 weeks, and while it started to ease up around 18 weeks, I still get sick. The good thing is, now I only actually throw up a few times a week, instead of a few times a day. I lost a lot of weight, but have finally gained back 3 lbs.  You can try some of the remedies that people reccomend like giner and crackers, but for some people, like me, those thigs just dont work.  Keep in mind, this will pass, and it is all worth it in the end, even though it is terrible now.   Your not alone, but try to hang in there, because like JoyRenee said, morning sickness can be a good sign that your body is going through the necessary changes.

Hey girl! I just want to tell you this--- morning sickness can be a GOOD SIGN! It means your little bean is growing and strong. A nurse once told my sister, "The sicker you are means the embryo implanted deep" which is a good sign.

My morning sickness tapered off at 13-14 weeks with my pregnancies. You're definitely not alone and it's definitely an "all day sickness", not just the mornings!

Some things that worked temporarily for me were:

Ginger biscuits,
Old style ginger ale,
Sucking boiled sweets,
Ice lollies,
and red liquorice

I"m right there with you! I'm 6w4d today and for the last couple weeks i've had UNBEARABLE nauseau, not just in the morning either, its all morning, all day, & all night long! they gave me Reglan an anti-nausea med but that gave the shakes, horribly, i was just shaking head to toe, so they said that there's a different combo to try that most likely wouldn't give me the shakes or any side effects since i'm so sensitive. They have me taking 50mg of Vit. B6 & 25mg of Unisom twice daily. Just took the first dose so we will wait and see if i get any relief!
I wish you the best of luck, I know this is a horrible feeling!  Yes in deed when will it end???
