newborns and pets

I have two dogs that are very clingy to me and my husband. Im ten weeks pregnant and I'm worried that when the baby is born that the dogs will be super jealous of me and my husband attending to our newborn's needs. Anyone have any suggestions that will help them be less clingy and to leave the baby toys and blankets alone once we have the baby?

What we did with our DD was my fiancee brought one of the blankets that she was swaddled in home so our first child (snow bear our chow) would already know out daughters smell, my fiancee left the blanket there with him. Then when we came home, my fiancee carried out daughter in so that way I could love on him, which he needed. It all worked out. Lots of walks with both of them helped them bond too. It made snow see that it was important to protect her like he did me.
