Thank you all. .. Andy Maxamillion Grard was born sleeping this morning at 8:05am. He was 19 weeks and 8.4 oz and 9 inches long. My heart is breaking right now and I'm at loss for words
Honestly , I've read a lot of stories about woman losing there amniotic fluid or it being dangerous low . They were on bed rest and all they did was constantly drink water and there fluids repaired themselves in more then half the stories . Your doctor knows best but so do you . Nobody can make that decision for you , but look up repairing amniotic fluid levels and see what you find . Goodluck keep updated
thank you for the kind words we have our next appt wednesday and i will keep you posted.
I have to believe there is always a chance at life...especially if theres a strong heart beat and properly developing organs. No one can make this decision for you though, only you can know whats right. I pray everything works out for the best for you, and that you have the strength to endure all that is to come. Keep us posted...if you want to :)
Izzysmomma,
I am so sorry to hear what you're going through and I know it must be scary. I wish there was more that I could offer other than my prayers. If the doctors are giving you a 10% change of success, that's still 10% and still hope. While life holds no guarantees, it sounds like your baby is a fighter. 23-24 weeks is where babies can survive outside the womb. It's a long journey at that age, but possible. You've made it almost 2 weeks so far. 3-4 more weeks could offer a chance of survival in NICU to catch up on growing. Miracles happen every day and your baby could be that miracle too!
Sending lots of prayers your way. Please keep us posted!
No one can make that choice for you. But I recently had a friend who found out she had a tear in her sac and had been slowly leaking fluid unbeknownst to her. She delivered her baby and he had no brain function and passed two days later.
