It really depends on the child. DS6 went into a toddler bed at around 20 months. But he was used to sleeping in our bed anyway. It wouldn't hurt to try. But at the same time, if the new baby will be sleeping in a bassinett or co-sleeping with you then that gives you an extra few months.
i put my daughter in a toddler bed at 18 months and i found she slept better in it u can buy toddler beds in the form of cartoons like toy story and disney princess my daughter loved it and would sleep through the nite for me as long as u have a safety rail on the side ur toddler should be fine
We have our Lily in a toddler bed, We moved her into it at 20months, and have found it to be quite successful. Good Luck!!
I think that a toddler bed at that age will be fine. And maybe you could get her a princess bed, I bet she would love that!
i was hoping that that would be ok. lily will be 17 months when the baby is born but the baby will be with us for the first 3 months.
I put my daughter in a toddler bed aat 2 yrs old and by 2 1/2 she was too big for it and went straight to a queen size bed!!! Lucky her lol.
im sorta in the same shoes and even though i know for sure i will eventually need an additional crib my friend suggested a cradle for the new borns to sleep in until Em outgrows her crib....
i switched my son in a toddler bed once he was walking and not moving around so much in bed....i believe it was about 18 months when i switched him
