pregnant and used marijuana previously

ok i am 37 weeks pregnant.  i found out at 28 weeks.  i had my period the whole time and no signs of pregnancy.  i have been smoking pot and drank a couple times i stopped smoking weed at 30 weeks pregnant.  iim now in my 37th week and i have been clean for 49 days.  my due date is in 19 days .. also i just moved to the state of pa.  and i hear they drug test all mothers in the delivery room. not sure if its true but i dont wanna ask in case they do.  im scared about my babies health and concerned about him being taken.
i need to no if this has been enough time to clean my system out?
will he be ok?
i cant lose him.
i always wanted kids and was also told i could not have babies.  
now that im about due and dont have a belly at all i am scared they will try to take him from me
he is growing right and is about 7 lbs.
will my system be clean?
im very tiny i only weigh 135
dont no if that matters but i just need advice from someone who been there.
please help me

i just smoked a blunt of good mj yesterday and that is my last blunt until after i have my daughter im 29 weeks preg and my due dater is in july 23 induceing me at 39 weeks will i b  clean in time for deleviery

i have been a pot smoker for alot of years and so have alot of my friends, and all their pregnancies were just fine as long as your not smoking 3 blunts a day you should be fine.  i am 6 weeks pregnant and i was smoking every now and again to take the edge of the morning sickness, but other than that i have just laid off it, everytime i think about it i just think of the beautiful baby i hope to be holding 8 months from now. and i use that as the motivation to not pick it up more, but unfortunely in pregnancy we can not take a whole lot of meds, so a little herbal supplement will not hurt the baby as long as it is completly natural and no "additives"...Marijauana has never been proven to cause any birth defects or anything to worry about.  Congrats on getting clean and i hope you have really good luck...i am 100% sure u will be fine, but def talk to your doctor and be open with him, and please do not pick it back up after birth if you plan to breastfeed.

They will not test you in Pa. I have never heard of that before, I think someone may be trying to scare you. Honestly, I think your body has been cleared long enough by now that even if you were tested, I don't think anything would show up. I'm sure you and baby will be just fine. And like others have said, be honest about everything with your doctor, I'm sure they are more than willing to help in anyway they can. The important thing is that you have stopped and that you will not do that anymore.

Personally... if it were legalized I'm a supporter of marajuana, during pregnancy too (Occasionally) if needed due to severe pain or nausea (severe meaning no meds will work properly)
I think as others said, come clean to your doctor and tell him/her exactly what happened and all that. I think things will be fine with baby and it's great that youve been clean!

First off, congrats on the unexpected miracle. 2nd,  I have adopted to babies from CPS because both mother & baby tested positive at birth (meth).  I was told by both doctors, that they only drug test the infant when there is probable cause.  If they suspect something, they will.  The only issue that should be any worry to you is the pre-natal care not being recieved in the 1st & 2nd trimester.   Be open & honest with your doctor, he can even run a blood test for you to confirm any signs of drug use.   Congrats on being clean 49 days, keep going!

I agree.   I think you've had enough time to let it out of your system....now you just need to stay clean!   Good luck.

I think you worring about all this will do more harm than anything else.  I don't think the smoking pot could really be any worse than cigarettes.  The alcohol could be more concerinng...

try to relax.  you can't change what is already done.  You didn't do those thing knowing you were pregnant.  talk to your doctor.  it will be ok.  

most of all relax.  I don't think anyone is going to take the baby of a loving caring mother.

I delivered in PA and they DO NOT do a drug test!!  
I think your son will be fine, just don't do anymore drugs because he's going to be needing to be taken care of =)    

They have a HIV blood test and hearing test that are by Law, but not drugs (not for me atleast)

I would straight up tell your doctor about your situation (I know it could be scary).  But just tell him/her that you found out REALLY late in pregnancy and what the chances could be.
