pregnant while on mirena

Has anyone here gotten pregnant with the mirena IUD still in? Im really worried about what to expect this pregnancy.  This week be my 4th child

I haven't but I've read that a lot of women have miscarriages when they get them taken out during the pregnancy. Have you been to the doctor yet?

My friend got pregnant while on it and didn't know. She had two beautiful twin girls!!

Mirena has a ton of lawsuits bc it slips out of place then women get pregnant and miscarry. Call your doctor immediately to have it removed if you're pregnant.

Do NOT get it removed. There is a greater risk for miscarriage.. they will monitor you closely, im sure you will be fine. My sister was soo scared while pregnant with mirena, my.niece is 1 and a half years old now :)

^ do what??!! When u get it put in thats in the pamphlet.  Get it out if you have a pos preg test. The dr says the same thing if you ask. Call your doctor for advice on this. I have ALWAYS been told and heard call immediately for removal bc of the risk of miscarriage and even higher risk of birth defects.

Wow i had the mirena the whole 5 years . Not one complication. My sons now 5 and im expecting. Ive never heard of none of this but wow now i consider myself very lucky

I got pregnant woth an iud it was hard my first appointment they suggested I terminate the pregnancy cuz theirs a high chance of miscarriage I told them no I had appointments3-4 appointments a week now my lil boy is about to be 2 next month never got the iud removed didnt wanna risk anything since I was already 10 weeks

They do have a lot of lawsuits on the iud . A lot of women get pregnant on any birth control they take .
