Rach, I am sorry I dont know much about BBT because I am a very impatient person and to ppl that can I give you props! I just wanted to say that some ppl on here are looking for you as one of them would be me...to see how you are doing. Hope things are well.
thanks I am doing good. Just been busy I guess. Something strange is going on with my body though...would really like to know what it is. Hoping that doing the BBT charting and keeping a close watch on my CM and having sex everyday will get us lucky this month and save me from buying a fertility monitor.
lol I am sure your husband LOVES you for this! Good luck...keep us posted.
haha...he seems okay with it right now...but since my cycle is like 47 days long and have no idea when I will ovulate...sex every other day will eventually agitate him...but it will be worth it in the end.
Well, ideally you should have a luteal phase (from ovulation till AF) of 10 days or more. If it's less than 10, it can be a problem, because a fertilized egg might not be able to implant before the lining starts to shed. However, in the example they used, the person would have a 10 day luteal phase...so I think it should have been:
If you ovulate on day 19 (or later) in a 28-day cycle, you should set up an appointment with a doctor to discuss a possible luteal phase defect.
Hope that helps!
that does make more sense....thanks i'm still trying to figure all this out....there is so much info to take in when you are a woman. :)
Yeah, I know :-)
I've been charting for a while now, and love it! It has really helped me understand my cycles better.
Good luck to you!
So what that is saying is, if after 3 mo of charting and your ovulating on day 37-your luteal phase would not be long enough to sustain preg...if you start charting, make sure to take your temp close to the same time every morning AND after 3 hours of sleep. Take it BEFORE you get out of bed. I'm sure your just missing your O date since you have been preg twice before! Good Luck!
thanks girls...i'm excited...
oh yeah, make sure to record your cm too each day...watery, ew, sticky (crumbles in a ball), creamy (like milk), and dry...watery and ew are fertile...charting is fun. I'll pm you my chart so you can see what it looks like!
I sent you a private message-if you cant see my chart let me know!
