questions about ultrasound

I may be going a little crazy over all the things these doctors are telling me, but im concerned about the way my daughters mouth looks. We just got our 20 week scan and got a few 2d and 3d images. In her profile view, her upper lip comes out more than her bottom lip, but in the pictures of her face forward she looked normal. I'm just wondering if its normal for the upper lip to be out so far or if that could indicate something else. My doctor did say he was concerned she may have a cleft palate, but we won't actually know for sure until birth. Would the protruding upper lip indicate the cleft palate?

for my bubs its from the dads side, and its the way his mothers top gum is shaped, alot more rounded so that pushes the lip out abit more, now they are older you cant even tell except when they pucker up for a kiss and out comes the little beak, its sooooo cute :)

they would have checked all that in the ultrasound, my last 4 babys had that look, we used to call it their little beak look. Their top lip side profile was even bigger than there noses, all were fine

I think they can actually check that on ultrasound--I know they did something similar for my daughter. A dark line (gap) on the mouth shows it and if it was a 3D picture you can very clearly see it.
