Okay so about a week ago I thought I was losing my muscus plug.. In two days. Well this morning I woke up and there was a small smear of blood on my pantie liner. And as the day got closer to noon I went to the bathroom and found a big glob of blood and more snot looking stuff. I think I've had my bloody show. Does it sound like it? Anyways. Well I've been on bed rest for going into preterm labor. And I have to wait til I hit 37 weeks to get off and I wasn't aloud sex til 37 weeks. Well today marks 37 weeks and my boyfriend really wants to.. And now I'm not so sure. Am I aloud to have sex after I have my bloody show? Any help would be great. Thanks!

Yay! This is exciting!!! I hope so!! I know my Dr keep saying I won't make it much past 37 weeks if I do what I'm suppose to til 37 weeks. So hopefully this means I will have him soon. I really hope he does comes on Sunday though. That's my boyfriend birthday. I think it would be super cute if daddy and son had same birthday! This gives me hope <3

U can definitely its safe and at 37 weeks baby can make its debut lol 37 weeks is considered full term so maybe ull meet ur lil one soon!! Congrats :)

Yea. both can help. Ur plug starts slipping out when ur cervix starts to soften and dilate. so u are prob. Making more progress!

Cervix changing? I know I am dilated as of 34 weeks to 1 cm. But was at 0% effaced. So could that mean I dilated more or effaced?

Some women don't lose theirs before labor or just don't notice it. Like I just.started losing mine and if I didn't know what to look for it would just look like discharge on the toilet paper. But u can lose it from anywhere starting at 35 weeks some women do lose it earlier than that tho.

Hey sorry I'm asking this on your post but I'm 37 weeks and haven't seen any mucous plug yet. When would that start? I need this baby girl out!

It could. But some ladies lose theirs weeks before labor. But it means ur cervix is changing which is always a good sign. :)

Okay! That's good to know. That's what I was thinking. I read a lot of stuff on Google but I don't go off that.. But I reqd something about it coming out all the way when there's blood.. And also do you think it could mean labor is closer/soon? Thanks

I'm guessing ur mucus plug just finished coming out.  when ur plug completely comes out it will or could have blood in it. If that's the case u can still have sex.
