so disappointed..

I'll be 39 weeks tomorrow. I went to the Dr yesterday and found out i was only dilated 1cm with a thick cervix. SERIOUSLY. I've been hurting soo bad the last few weeks i thought for sure i would at least be 2-3cm. And to top it off she said the baby's head was still high. Did i mention this is my THIRD pregnancy. It was all i could do to fight back the tears as i was leaving. Im sooo disappointed and discouraged.

you're 39w which means with the 2 wk variation window you could only be 37w, plenty time.   hang in there x

My third was the only one I was hardly dialated with, my other 2 I was really dialated for weeks.  I was also in the most pain with her.  She came a day early, while the other two were 7 and 9 days late.  It can all happen at once, so dont let it get you down too much!

Aw don't be sad! Lots of women progress from absolutely nothing going on, to full blown labor in a day! You could still make a LOT of progress between now and your due date!! :-D
