sugar dropping

I'm 28 weeks and today I'm having trouble with my sugar dropping. I haven't done anything different than I usually do. I ate breakfast at 5 and by 8 my sugar dropped to 53 than I ate cake and like 5 pieces of Bacon. Then at 10 I was feeling bad again and my sugar had dropped to 78. And I just ate a piece of pizza and a pop. I called my doctor and just told me to eat more. I just feel like they should be doing something or is there not anything they can do. Plz help I'm kinda freaked out

Yea thanks for ur help. Well I checked it because I wasn't feeling well. After I had eaten breakfast. And it was low. So I hate what was available to get it to go up and that happened to be cake and Bacon. And it still didn't go up much

If your sugar test was good why do u keep checking your self? Eat frequently and go with high protein snacks. Pizza and cake not the ideal way to keep a steady blood sugar.

I had this very early in my pregnancy and had to change what and how I eat. Certain foods can cause your blood sugar to spike up and then drop very quickly. I can't eat cake or even toast in the morning cause it will do it to me. Try staying away from sugary and breads early in morning or just one peice of wheat toast instead of two peices and eating more often. Have you had your sugar test yet?
