tanning?

I have bad acne right now. The only way I've ever had clear skin results is by tanning. What's the rules with tanning??

I used an open bed with my first. I never use closed cause to me its like being in a freaking coffin lol but an open bed might be a good alternative since their is circulation and such. Usually can find them at your local spa :) I live in fl so I really have no need to pay for a tan ;)

i tanned a little until i asked my doctor. when i was tanning i checked my body temp every 5 minutes (yup i carried a thermometer with me in the bed) and it never rose by maybe 1 degree. when i asked my OB she said that there wasn't enough information about it (that was over 3 years ago) but they may have more info now. i stopped because she wasn't 100% comfortable with it.
i would ask your doctor!

^^yep yep!! My doc said to limit to about 8-10 minutes because pregnant skin is much more sensitive and could blister easily

This is what my doctor told me when I was pregnant...to say that yu cant use a tanning bed or booth is like telling yu that yu cant spend a few hours in the Sun. A tan usually starts as a sunburn and sunburns are only skin deep. I would still run by yer doctor but mine said it was fine as long as I didn't overdo it

My OB said tanning does not actually hurt the baby because it doesn't elevate internal body temperature. I don't tan during pregnancy because my skin is always too sensitive during it but I asked just to know. So I would ask your doctor what he thinks
