ultrasound for twins?
I had a scan at about five weeks. Was told they can't say much or see much only that the pregnancy was in the right place. I have changed doctors and I'm 9 weeks now and my hormone level is very high. My doctor suggesting either I'm further along then initially thought or having twins. If I was having twins would that have been visible in my 5 week scan. I'm so confused.
Its possible after a 5wk scan that the embryo splits and createa twins, but if they just saw one embryo it is also very likely there is just one baby. You will have to let us know when you have your next ultrasound :)
Not necessarily. You may just be further along. What I would worry about is now and they couldn't give a definite answer on that.
Yeah because I don't really want twins and it's stressing me out. Hope it goes good.
You could just look further. I'm 18w and I look like I'm further along the Dr said its just because my uterus decided to stretch more than it needed to. I'm only having one baby but I was nervous I was having two also lol.
