If a pregnant woman with low levels of this enzyme drinks, her baby may be more susceptible to harm because the alcohol may circulate in her body for a longer period of time.

I drink wine on occasion and my baby is quite healthy. Strong heartbeat and looks awesome on the ultra sounds :) half a glass of red wine, especially after the first trimester, is fine.

My dr is one of the drs that reccomend it , she wasif you were 21 i would reccomend a glass of red wine every now and then . I think that was her way of recommending anyways otherwise why would she say anything at all . Lol , i hvnt had any though . Just saying thats its perfectly okay , just not during breastfeeding .

There's always gonna be someone who crucifies women for a glass of wine. There has been no proof at all that one glass of red wine will cause any harm to your child. Liquor and beer are a big no no. But some doctors even RECOMMEND a small glass of red wine. You'll be just fine, so will baby.

No, that is an absolute myth and really bad for baby. Do not drink while pregnant.

I've heard that it has to be red wine and yes its supposed to be one of thenatural ways to induce labor

Not for everyone. Everybody is different. Some women can do everything to bring on labor and it doesn't lol.
