Anyone here use a Doula before or going to?

Im considering a Doula and wanted to know if anyone has used one or is going to.  Ive read great things about their help if you are seeking a vaginal birth.  And its real important that if I can prevent that I do and being Im a larger woman (size 18/20) alot of times they run right to c-sections and Id prefer not too.  Im also 50/50 on natural birth right now.....But I wanted some input.

Thanks for the kind words.... I dont mind the other person present....Its my first and I think having someone there to help me would be peaceful.

i never used one but i have heard great things by others that have.  i suppose its a comfort thing, if you are ok with another person in the delivery room,  if you really want a natural birth,  how determined you are to remain comfortable with the help of natural techniques.  i say why not.  by the way, i dont think id call you a larger woman :)
