Hey everyone - sorry i haven't responded - i've been in bed w/the stomach flu which I wouldn't wish on anyone (okay maybe my dd's cheer coach - lol). Hey hannah - I'm doing the big u/s on Nov. 27 and yeah I'm gonna find out the gender - too impatient I guess :-))). Rebecka - am so glad that the chiropractor has been helping. If I have that problem, I'm gonna live at her office!
THANKS SO MUCH FOR YOUR CONGRATS AND SUPPORT - LUV YOU GUYS!!!!!!!! - jen
Jenn - thanks for the concern - its called pubis symphysis and from all I have read and been told its just basically the pelvis spreading due to the relaxin - just seems to bother some people more then others - I guess since I've had no morning sickness , horrible cravings, etc - this is my cross to bear - I just have to appreciate it as part of my pregnancy and if I wasn't pregnant I wouldn't be experiencing this - lol - that works sometimes - my chiropractor is amazing and that helps more then anything - Happy Halloween!
Congrats on your appt. My dr does the doppler every appointment. It is nice isn't it!! I'm really glad it is all going so well. Hopefully that nausea will pass soon. Do you know when your BIG u/s is scheduled for?? Are you going for find out the gender??
Congats!!
Congradulations on hearing your little one Jen! Isn't is marvelous to know there is life inside you? I heard my little one's heartbeat at 7 weeks on u/s at 150 bpm. I am just 10 weeks and the doc will use the doppler in two weeks. I have never heard a doppler heartbeat before! I wish you a healthy and happy pregnancy and baby!
Jenn, Congrats on hearin your lil one :O) It is sooo exciting, it's smooth sailing from here on out. Yeah my DR will deliver at 38 weeks if you are a scheduled c-section to be certain you dont go naturally. Happy and healthy pregnancy ((sheila))28w
You know - he did mention something about that!!! Me and my memory totally su**! Btw how are you doing? Everything going okay?
congrats on hearing your little babies heartbeat, heres wishing you a happy healthy 9 months!!!
hi jen just wanted to post to your comment above, and its only a thought, you said you were not sure why he wanted to do c-section at 38 verses 39 weeks, for whatever reason they are doing the section, it could be to assure you do not go into labor early, so to prevent any complications maybe thats why he is doing it at 38 weeks, now keep in mind I could be complely wrong, my niece was pregnant and the baby had gastroscesis, (intestines were on the outside of the body) they found it at a 4 month ultrasound, they sectioned her at 371/2 weeks, to assure she did not go into labor, hope this helps,
Hey everyone - thanks for the support! yeah I've had c-sections before so I don't question the need for the procedure one bit. There are more than one reason for me to have a repeat c-section that I won't bore you with so believe me I won't argue w/the doctor on this (in fact it never entered my mind). I just question doing it at 38 as opposed to 39 weeks.
Patty - how are you feeling? I've been thinking of you and all that you've gone through w/your nausea - bless your heart, you've been through the ringer, girl! Sarah - I'm so glad that you are doing well but omg that totally bites about having the flu! I've only had it once but gosh I really feel for you. Hope you're doing better! Rebecka - how are you feeling? Your post about the (I can't remember the term) symphsis thing really concerned me - hope you're doing better!
Everyone take care and keep me updated - kelly it sounds like we're due around the same time - are you still experiencing nausea? HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!!!!!!!! - jen
Ohhhh, congrats I am happy that all went good for you!. It is sooo excitingto hear the heartbeat for the first time... nothing else like it!
Why are you having a C-section???? I am so scared of those, but not sure what will be easier..... I am a wimp! I am get nervous about delivery, and have a ways to go still...lol
Best of Luck,
Kelly

hmm... mandatory c-section? haven't heard of that one.
did youhave a c-section with your first baby? i know if you'd had one in the past they like to repeat....but whenever i watch these baby delivery shows on tv, the c-section babies often have trouble with their lungs... and they explain it on the shows. that something during vaginal delivery helps clear out and get their lungs ready,
make sure you ask lots of questions.
Congrats Jen! - That is so great. You know, it takes so much pressure off you when you get a little bit of reassurance like that. Not all the worries gone but it does lift something! I heard ours the second ultrasound at 7 weeks 1 day. She did a vaginal and said "there's the heartbeat". I said "I didn't see it". She said hold a sec.. went back over it again and turned on the sound and I wasn't sure that was it and then she turned it up loud and said there! I got all teary eyed!! One for hearing it and the other for my DH not being there with me (he was at work 2 hours away for the week). But anyways, it was a true blessing!! Congrats again!!

Hey Jenn - hurray! I will always remember the first time hearing our little one's heartbeat - it doesn't ever get any less exciting! I'm still thrilled to hear it! So glad you received good news and hopefully all will continue going so great! Keep us informed!!

I am doing well..( despite having the flu )...not sure whether I am slightly showing, or it's just the weight I've put on...there just seems so much to look forward to when you're pregnant..now I'm looking forward to starting to show properly, and feeling the first movement!!
Anyway, take care and enjoy!
