heavy bleeding in 2 week ivf wait

hi all , i had my 2 embrios transfered 13 days ago , due to do my test on thurs , but last nite i stared bleeding , it went after a while but continued this morning , could feel pressure down below and next thing this big ball came from me , when i rang my clinic the nurse told me that was normal has it was the progest gel that just cloggs up . was bit relieved . but told her im still bleeding she said that it dose not sound good but to still do my test on thurs , has anyone had very heavy bleeding in the 2wk ivf wait and still add positive result x x x very worried

I had one IVF that ended up in miscarriage - 2 embryos. Initial test had shown that hormones were slowly going up then quickly they went down and heavy bleeding (at day 20 after implantation I think) started for over a week non-stop. Sorry I can't give you better news :-(

I have not had IVF so I am not certain how that impacts things.  However, bleeding, even heavily, is not really uncommon during early stages of pregnancy.  It can go either way at this point and as much as I wish I could tell you differently, it's just a wait and see now.  It's hard I know.  I wish you well and will keep my fingers crossed for a positive outcome.  Please let us know.  Good luck.
