Early Pregnancy Question

Hi - my DH and I did our 3rd and final round of IVF (a FET) on Oct 25 and it ended up being the lucky one as we got a BFP on Nov 3.  Took my 2nd beta test yesterday.  They wanted it to be around 280 and ended up being 346, so that as great!  However, last night and this morning I've started having some mild cramps (no bleeding though).  I was just wondering if this is normal?  Has anyone else had this?  I'm thinking its normal, but I just wanted to get some thoughts from others.  This is our 2nd pregnancy, our first ended in a M/C at 6 wks, so I'm a little nervous.

Thank so very much for all your responses!!  It made me feel much better.  We've been on this IVF roller coaster for the last year.  This was our third and final time and it was the lucky one.  The first 2 attempts were BFNs.  Our only other BFP came before we started IVF when we conceived on our own, however it ended in a M/C at 6 wks.  So although I'm slightly nervous, I'm also really excited!

I had IVF as well, and I also had some mild cramping in the beginning. From everything I have read, this is normal. Congrats! I know IVF is an emotionally draining process. You must be SO happy!

Congratulations!!! And yes, mild cramping in early pregnancy is normal.  Your uterus is preparing to make room for a baby.  I wish you all the best and hope you have a wonderful 9 months.

I had some mild cramping at the beginning as well.. and when I read up on it.. it can simply be implentation cramps or your uterus stretching.  If you start bleeding or your cramps increase see a doctor but besides that I wouldn't worry too much if the cramps are light!  Congrats!  Wish you all the best!
