Wow, this is great!! BFP yesterday on frer and digi this morning said "pregnant", what a beautiful sight.

Had a m/c 4 days after Christmas last year and been ttc since then. I have been on the fertility/infertility board for a while, and the women there are wonderful, some have moved here!!  

I am sure I will have a lot of questions because the last time I did this was over 17 years ago and things have definitely changed since then!! I am so scared, worried, excited all at the same time.

okay ladies I got my first numbers today.  14dpo beta is 130, prog is 15.  He said the prog was on the low side, so he prescribed prometrium pills 100 mg a day.  I don't know if he realizes how early I am, but I'm glad he is being cautious. I go for my second beta tomorrow afternoon and will get those results on  Thursday, I'm nervous......what do you think about the progesterone number, does it seem low to you?

I am counting on a bfp from you in a couple of days!!!  No excuses!! LOL  I am watching for your posts to see how you feel about it this cycle.  I really think you will get it because of the hernia. Life plays those "tricks" on us sometimes. I'm a little surprised you haven't tested, but after last month I guess  I don't blame you. I am praying for you, and hoping we can go through this together :)

I did another frer today (14dpo) and the line is almost as dark as the control.  And to think FF told me to wait until today to test, haha.  I am taking that as a good sign.  I had b/w today for betas and progesterone, but can't get the results until tomorrow.  I told them I would keep my phone with me at all times!! I am really concerned about the prog. my temps are still up, but haven't gone triphasic, I don't know if that is normal or not. My doc has changed his policy and is seeing you at 4 to 5 weeks now, so I got an appointment for next Tuesday.  I really don't know what he will do except inform me of all the risks for my age.(like I haven't heard them already).  He's really good though, so I don't mind.

I am sooooooo thrilled for you!!!! I hope I get to post another bfp really soon, too. Either 8 or 10dpo today. I think 10. Not much more time to go. YAY for you!!!!

I will call today to see if my doc will run betas this week, and to make an appointment.  In dec when I found out I was pregnant, the appt was a month away, so that is what I am expecting this time.  My sister, who is 12 years older than me, has two grown daughters.  One who has two beautiful little boys (I'm a great aunt, can you believe it?) and the other daughter just had IUI last week (hoping we will be preg together).  She (my sister)called and left two messages on my phone last night about getting b/w for low progesterone.  She said her two daughters (one of which is an rn) said at my age it may be low. It was so sweet, I could hear the urgency in her voice and concern. So I will also ask for that to be tested just to make sure.  That could have been the problem last time since I m/c early.  We will see.  Hoping for good high numbers!!

I am sooooo happy for you.. That is really great that you were able to work it out on your own.. 17 years is a long time.. it really is like you are starting ALL over.. This is my first.. I'm excited but if I think about it too hard, I get really scared... Scared of the unknown I guess..  I haven't been around kids much so it is all really foreign to me..

Yes, I knew it was different this time as well.  My dh and I decided we were not going to seek any assistance, and were only going to try until I would be 42 at delivery (will be 41 in Oct). I used pre-seed (third cycle), and took EPO between af and ov (this was the first month trying it).  I really credit the preseed, bbt and opk's. My bb's were more tender since about 5dpo, and the headaches and upset stomach came and went since 7dpo.  I was thinking at that time, maybe my body is preparing to carry a baby and all my hormones are crazy. My temp dipped a bit on 9dpo and has just slowing climbed back to normal for me. The slight cramping started about then too, and that is not usual for me before af.  I am hoping all of these symptoms means it is a sticky bean, and I will not complain about them a bit, lol.

Congrats and welcome to pg forum!!  

Refresh my memory.. it is so hard to keep everyones story straight... have you been ttc naturally or with meds or with iui?? Did you do anything different this cycle?  

Have you been having any symptoms?  Did you know before you saw your bfp?  I didn't have a lot of symptoms, but I knew even before I saw the bfp.  My bbs were mildly sore and that was the give away.. I just knew it was different that time..
