OMG! 47 and IVFing!

Is there anyone else crazy as I am?

I agree with adgal's post above!  I am in my mid-40's but am using a donor.  This process has been full of highs and lows for me- hopefully you will just know the highs!!!!  and it is worth it!

good luck! it's not impossible! look at Kelly Preston - she's 47 and having her baby soon. Sigourney Weaver had twins at 49 i believe. Keep us posted!

Good luck! Do you mind if I ask, are you doing IVF with your own eggs or donor? I ask because my clinic won't do IVF with one's own eggs after age 43.  (I'm 42, on my sixth IUI cycle, and probably won't be moving to IVF because I haven't produced enough follicles even on high doses of Follistim--the RE says I probably wouldn't make it to egg retrieval. But I plan to ask her again if this cycle fails.)

I think it's great and I wish you much luck!

I am almost 42 and trying for no. 2 while my first is only 8 months old...now that must be crazy!!
