When is everyone due? How old are you?

I am 40 and am due Aug 24.  I have been told the baby is most likely coming early....I don't believe them, they said that about my ds and he came a week late.

I had my first child when I was 38 and there was not one problem with the pregnancy or my child.  She will be 3 in September.  Shame on anyone who has something negative to say about such a joyous time in your life.  Congrats and best wishes.

Congratulations.  37 isn't as old as it used to be.  You are on the right forum.  In NY, we have our kids a little later, and start our careers first.  You would fit right in here!

Hi, I'm 8 weeks and 37 (38 when I deliver). We haven't told our parents yet, it's our 1st baby, but I am not sure I want to hear all the nay sayers yet. I know my mom will be fretting over my incredibly old age of 37. My sister said a few years back she would never have a baby in her 30's, it would be too hard! I am in perfect health, and I feel 25, so forget em! All my friends had their babies in their mid to late 30's and 2 of them at 40 so I guess to me, it doesn't seem so odd. My family still lives in a small town where you have your babies in your 20's, not your 30's! Oh well, I'm going to float thru it. It is what it is.

Try to find someone that does the "Webster Technique" - look it up at the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association website.  Most midwives have heard of the technique.  It is a very simple, painless, noninvasive chiropractic adjustment of your pelvis that lets the baby turn on its own.  I'm a chiropractor and have had fantastic success with babies turning by doing this.  The Moms and OBs are amazed at how it works.  It is worth a try.  Have a great delivery!

HI I"M having my 4th child and am 36 weeks pregnant and the baby has not turned yet so will have him turned if he hasn't the week of the 20th.  I have contractions everyday...  Have been to the hospital twice once for preterm labor and the other for an ulcer..  I will not get pregnant again and enjoy every minute of this one.  I read to him and talk to him my family thinks I"m nuts.  oh well..  I lost three previously and cherish every minute of this one..   I am 36.  I also have a 15, 12 and 9 two gilrs and one boy.  the girls are the oldest.  I've only gained 13 lbs and the baby should weigh about 8 pounds at birth..   I have polyhydramious and they were worried about the swallowing of the baby but had an ultrasound done on Monday and all is well.  He just pee a lot.  LOL..  I am not sleeping, peeing all the time, having contractions a lot, and just generally miserable.  but would not trade it for anything.. He is transverse therefor his head and his feet are in my ribs..  I hope he turns but it will be over soon.  Then I  will sleep on my stomach again..  can't wait to have a cold mikes lemonade,  and I don;t usually drink but have had a craving for those since early pregnancy.  mind you I usually have a drink maybe twice a year...  also can't wait not to puke and have to pee at the same time. sorry so long but thought I'd tell you about me.. I have a dh and been married 12 years.  he had a vasectomy reversal last march we lost one at 12 weeks and had an ectopic in November.  we were not trying when two days before christmas I found out I was pregnant again..  OOPS..  it was meant to be..  hes my angel.  god bless and have a great 9 months

I am a massage therapist. Are you working still? I am starting to get very tired at the end of the day and my belly is beginning to get in the way. I do about 3 a day 4 days a week for now but will scale back to 2 a day within the next month. I havent had a massage in a while either. We should both make a point of getting one :) Anxious, I am jelous of your watermelon story, can you send one out here...lol

I think I got the melon as she is madly in love with my dh.  She always kisses him and tell him that she loves him.  She's a friend's mum.  My dh blushes scarlet everytime, but he is always sweet to her, she tells him he is like a gentleman from the south.

Anyhow her friend grows the watermelons and they are a heritage variety.  Now I want another one....

I had the best watermelon ever last week.  An 87 year old lady brought it to me from Alabama.  She smuggled it across the border (not allowed to bring in US produce) I peed my pants when her son gave me this contraband melon.  It was the huge old fashioned kind with seeds.  yum Yum

I am new to this forum.  I am 38 - I will just turn 39 if/when I make it to delivery in March.  I am only 6 weeks.  I had a miscarriage at 14 weeks last Nov.  I have a fantastic son who will be 4 in October (I was 34 when I delivered).  I felt a little out of place in a forum with really young moms.  I'm just a little tentative, after the miscarriage.

You bet. They guarantee their produce so I march my fat @ss back in there and give it back. Thankfully, this is a small town, they know I am usually a very nice person so they are putting up with me. I have gained 20lbs and am 27wks. I didnt gain anything until my last two dr visits and now I am packing it on even though I am walking, swimming, doing modified pilates (im an instructor so I know what I can and cannot do) Its embarrassing to teach and be so large so I am just doing massage now until I get my body back, whenever that may be LOL .

I'm 36 and will be 37 when I deliver.  The online calculator says I'm due March 20, but I'll know more when I have my first doctors visit this Wed.!  I have a 12 yr old girl and a 15 yr old boy already and they are going to be wonderful with a new baby as well!  And this will be my DH's first baby, as I'm re-married.

I came over because one of the older ladies told me about this forum...  I started out on "Maternal Child" forum and after a long period of failed attempts I switched over to the "Fertility ~ Infertility" forum.  I had to go through a lot to get preggers.  I felt uncomfortable being in a forum with ladies trying to conceive.  I feel like I can benefit from the info I get from here.  I know that I'm not 35+ but I too had lots of complications getting to where I am now.  I had two Lap surgeries last year along with biopsies.  I also had an HSG in Jan 07.  After my tubes were cleaned out the Dr put me on several fertility drugs....  So again, I understand I may not meet the age requirement but would love to stay here and chat with the older more sophisticated ladies...  You understand, I hope.  DH and I had been TTC since October 2005 and finally I feel like we are getting somewhere.

In my last post, I didn't put how far along I am...  18w6d.

Jess, I think you may be on the wrong forum, this one is for us old Broads, over 35 and preggers.  Your youth is going to make us all jealous.  I'll bet your butt doesn't even sag yet.

Love, I'm having a little girl, wouldn't it be neat if we actually delivered on our due date.
