Pain in left side

SHK
I am married (3 years) and I am in a loving relationship with my husband. We have been trying to conceive but in vain. We even went for IUI but at the last moment my gyne I found out was misleading me all the time and i had to give up. The hospital administrator on my complaint said that the gyne was not authorized by the hospital to treat infertility cases and I guess action was taken against her. Anyway we cannot afford test tube. The said gyne said I have PCOs but in other tests it was not confirmed. All my tests are normal. Almost 18months ago I conceived and since I have irregular cycle I did not know I was pregnant. After two weeks I started spotting and lost the baby. It was very depressing for me.
About two weeks ago I had this intense pain in my left side just near the kidney. The pain was so severe that I could hardly walk. I use crutches. I still have that severe pain that I am worried. At first I thought it was due to the PPS (post polio syndrome) as i used to have this kind of pain on and off but nothing as severe as this time nor has it lasted for over 2 weeks. I am worried now. Yesterday I started my periods after 28 days. I think it is periods but i am not having normal bleeding and the colour was also dark brown. this worried me more.
I have read the symptoms of kidney and ovary pain/infection and apart from the pain i have no other symptoms. I even thought I had appendix but again no symptoms.
Can anyone help me? I know I need to go see a doctor but I just dont like going to hospitals and my husband (he doesnt know anything about the pain!) would be besides himself with worry; he just cannot bear that I am ill or have any problems. Can someone also tell me how i can shed some pounds? I do not have any physical activities and in my countries there are no gyms or such facilities where special people like me can go.
Thanks.

Thanks Adgal for your support. I did go see a doctor and once my periods stop I have to get some tests done. I did get some medicines for the pain which is much better now. but the periods are way past the clearance day (4 days extra!) Anyways. thanks for the support.

I wish I could be of more help than this, but I honestly think you need to see a dr.  Its so unfortunate that your OB turned out to be dishonest, but there are many good ones out there.  Also, there are no Dr.s on this forum, if you are looking for a Dr. you should go to the Experts forums.  I wish you the best and wish I could be of more help, but there is so much going on.  If you are in that much pain, you need to be seen!!  Take care, and good luck to you.
