Test timing question

Hi there,

I am grateful for any advice.  I am  38 days since my last period  I took a test yesterday and got a negative.  I'm not ever late.

I have had some cramping, feels like butterflies in my stomach almost all day, my breasts are starting to become sore, feel a slight buzzing feeling in my body (weird) and not a sign of my period.  Could I have tested too soon?  I read through these posts and I get confused as to when is too late to test where you can assume you are not pregnant...   Thank you for your replies!

My home pregnancies tests with all three babies did not show a positive until I was 3 weeks late for my period, so quite a bit longer than 38 days from last period. Some women show a positive on a home test later than others, depending on the sensitivity of the test, etc. Good luck.

I would say the best thing for you to do is call your doctor and see if you could get a blood test. How long are your cycles?? Becasuse 38 days after last period seems really long!! It sounds like you have a few symptoms, so put your mind to rest and go get a blood test.

Good luck, hope you get your BFP!!!
