Crampy at 33 weeks

At my 32 week appt. my midwife discovered my blood pressure was very high. My normal is low. I was put on bed rest and it has gone down. So she says keep up the rest. My problem is before I was on her rest I had braxton hicks quite frequently. Now that I'm on bed rest I'm not having them, but I am getting this crampy feeling like I'm starting my period. I told my midwife but she brushed it off. I'm worried that I might be threatening premature labor. What do you guys think? I've had two previous c sections. The first was induced and the second was elective so I have no frame of reference for real labor.

Glad to know it might just be normal. My neice freaked me out when she said that's how her labor started. Then the midwife said the same thing but didn't think there anything to worry about. She actually just said, "now that's what labor feels like and it just keeps getting more intense". End of discussion. :-/

I am 34 weeks tomorrow and i have had the same crampy period like pain you are describing.Although it has only happened twice this week. and it only lasted about 40 min. I'm just putting it all down to the aches and pains of being near the end of pregnancy! Although you should be careful and listen to your doctor if you're suffering from high blood pressure. I am also getting sore hips from sleeping side to side every night. Hopefully only 4 weeks to go!
