I am new here, and hoping you get some answer and are able to conceive inspite of the test results.. I don't know much about AMH, but I know that medicine is certainly not an exact science!
My fsh was high (12.4) and my amh low .7. I also have two boys but wanted another. I was actually told I was in early menopause! Making a long story short the bulk of my problem was endometriosis and my uterine lining was way too thick. After lap surgery and a d&c, my fsh went down to 5.6! My re gave me meds and we were blessed with another and a girl at that. Some people have been successful naturally by taking royal jelly, wheatgrass, dhea, and vitamin b complex and lowered fsh but the amh doesn't change im afraid. But I think u still have a shot, yours is definitely higher than mine. How many kids do u have? My dh keeps joking and said I would be happy if I was like the octomom!!!! Lol good luck to u.
Over here (australia) they are using this as a good indicator as it can be taken at anytime in your cycle etc, rather than the combination test, soo he said it doesnt look to promising, as due to my age blah blah blah, with the egg quality etc which I already know, he wont put me on anything cause I already have a truck load of kids and I think he thinks I've had enough, I feel abit silly because there are soooo many women out there who are having trouble concieving and having one baby, but it was just a shock, but all the research says at our age we only have a 1 percent chance of concieving, I was just hoping that somehow I was different lol
Hi! My amh was .7. With meds I have an almost 8 month old baby girl. I also have a 9 yo and a 7 yo. I got pg with them but had to be on progesterone for them. Good luck
Well, from the very little I know about amh, that test alone is typically not the best indicator of fertility. Typically, it is used as only one piece of the puzzle, along with fsh and others. What did your Dr. think?
