You have more discharge when you're pregnant to protect the womb from bacteria. Your mucus plug isn't white or clear. It's usually a little bloody, brown and maybe even and yellow green.
If it's sticky, you may have an infection. Talk to your doc
I don't have an infection because I took a group b strep last week and I have no bacteria it was negative
Sounds like normal discharge. The mucus plug is pretty distinctive.
I was thinking more of a yeast infection or bacterial vaginosis which have absolutely nothing to do with strep b or the test that detects it.
The mucus plug will be quite jelly like snd contrary to brlief does come come sway clear /white for some before seeing the "bloody show" that pp mentioned
Just for safety give your health provider a call to check
