I too naturally concieved and lost mono twins at 9 weeks. I just knew from the beginning of the pregnancy that it was twins. Early indicators of multiples is very high HCG, and extreme pregnancy symptoms. Severe morning sickness, fatigue, etc. I was so exhausted when I was pregnant with my twins that I could barely stay awake past 7:00 p.m. It was unreal!!!

Congrats, & please keep us posted :-)

I once was pregnant with twins (naturally) and I just knew it. My initial HCG had tripled within 48 hours and I had a lot of symptoms (bad heartburn being one of them) and very quickly I became very big. Unfortunately I lost both of them at 7 and 8 weeks :-(

What i have heard is that women in early and "mature" stages of fertility are more likely to have multiple pregnancy because fecunded eggs tend to divide.
Here are my two cents. Congatulations to the new moms to be!! Keep us posted!!

When I did my home pregnancy test with my twins it showed up beacon. When I went to the very first ultra sound they showed up right then. Everything was more pronounced with them. Everything was quicker too.

I am with angel.  The only way to really know is the u/s.  Wouldn't that be something?  Good luck.

Oh, and there is something to older women being more likely to have twins.  It's true statistically, although naturally conceived twins are still not super common.  Not sure why we are more likely when we are older...hmmm, need to go read up on that.

hmmmm I don't know, but my progesterone was 51.5 and 12000 hCG at 10 days past period. But I have seen alot of people say the levels dont' really indicate multi babies...
