i was measuring a full week behind.at 5 weeks, 6 weeks and 8 weeks.... but at my 12 week ultrasound i measured exactly 12 weeks, so it caught up , so to say.

I wouldn't worry too much about 4 days.  The ultrasound results can vary by 4 days anyway, and you could have ovulated late.

Best of luck.  Please keep us posted.

When I went in for my first ultrasound, the baby measured 6 days earlier than it should have been based on LMP.  This could have been because I ovulated late, or conceived late in the ovulation cycle. By my next ultrasound, it seemed to have caught up about 4 days.  At any rate, I'm almost 12 weeks now and everything seems fine.

Earlier this year I had a miscarriage and at the first ultrasound the fetus measured small for dates.

Maybe that is not any more helpful for you than your doctor's "50/50" odds.  Doctors can give the most annoying answers sometimes!!!

Ultimately, I don't think a 4 day variation is unusual.  Try not to worry (haha, good luck!).  If you read this forum regularly, you'll see that worrying is part of the job description!

The sac is only measuring 4 days off. My doctor told me there is a week leeway. I would not be too concerned yet. When do you go back?
