girls, it's positive!!! Aaaahhhhhhhhhhhh!! I had a freaking 48 hrs thinking i'm not pg at all,after all the symptoms i had...but it's bfp! I'm pg again 4 months after i lost my little boy at 19 weeks at amnio...Ok , i know that it's step by step from now on...but at least it's bfp.SSBD to everyone,going to have a huge lunch now!

Wow, congrats that is so great.  I know it is always hard to lose a baby, but to lose it from amnio seems like it would be especially difficult.  I am really glad you got your bfp..  take care of the both of you!!

I am 39 and had an amniocentesis for my first pregnacy done in Feb 2007 at 19 weeks which confirmed fetal abnormality and led to a D&E on Feb 13.  I am fortunate that I did not experience any side effects from the procedure and it confirmed the medical suspicions.  It took a while for my body/cycle to get back in synch.  I have since had two "normal" 28 cycles. My last period was July 6 and am hoping we can timed our efforts to conceive again; time will tell.  I appreciate this forum and the guidance and support it provides.  I look forward to tracking Nylena's pregnacy journey.  

I never thought I would still being trying to conceive at 39.  Life passes so quickly.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!    I am so sorry to hear about losing your little boy...   Did you write that it was after amniocentesis?!!?!!?   I am so afraid of that procedure to begin with....that I was just wondering!??  Best wishes with your pregnancy!!!   It rocks!!!
