Please say a prayer

One of the nurses at my job whom ive known for 7 yrs just passed away 4:00 am this morning. she was diagnosed with lung cancer stage 4 metastatic to the brain 5 weeks ago. sh was 50 yrs old and a wonderful person to know. and we are all upset here at my job. her co-worker has known her most of her life and she is just devasted. im trying to keep it together for my little girl dont want to get to upset and everybody is trying to make sure of that, but its hard. she was the first person that was nice to me when i started this job. and her husband is soo nice. me and DH have hung out with them a few times. she was so happy for me when i got pg. i will miss her. she touched my life in a way i will never forget. just needed to share, sorry if this upsets anyone. thanks for letting me. Please say a prayer for her family.

So so sorry.  We have a close family friend that is going through the same experience.  He is doing tests to find out if it has moved to his brain sometime within the next week or so.  Im scepticle if he is honest with us about his prognosis but unfortunatly I do think that the signs are not pointing in a possitve direction.  We pray for Bob alot and will add your friends family to our prayers tonight.

I am so sorry to hear about your friend/co-worker.  My dad passed away in 2004 from the same thing- lung cancer that met. to the brain.  He was diagnosed on my b-day and passed away 6 months later.  My dad was 59 and I miss him every day of my life and it hurts me so much that he never got to meet my dughter, my son-to-be and my nephew.  My older nephew was his pride and joy, his love!!  I will say an extra prayer tonight for your friend and will keep you and your co-workers in our thoughts.
