i spotted a little in my third pregnancy.. some spotting is normal i think.. but keep an eye on things..
I miscarried my fourth pregnancy.. and my fifth pregnancy was really stressful, its hard not to panic when you are pg after a loss..
Good luck. i am sure everything will be ok. (((hugs)))
At 8w3d w/dd I for some reason spotted bright red blood in the morning and it was gone by afternoon. Really weird. It was the day of my u/s too and everything was perfect. It is soo hard not to worry. I even spotted for the first time last week and I'm 22 weeks. It went away and I feel the baby all the time so I didn't call. I also had a m/c before this pregnancy.
Did you have intercourse or are you on progesterone suppositories? There is a lot of extra blood flow down there (and everywhere really) and that can cause some spotting but it isn't from inside the cerivix or uterus.
I would call your dr just incase. maybe you can go in and have an u/s or doppler to check the heartbeat and make sure everything is okay.
Best of luck to you.
Hi. I'm almost 7 weeks and started spotting bright red blood over the weekend. Lasted about 8 hours, less than a panty liner. I was very nervous. Had a follow-up ultrasound, everything is fine. No more spotting now. My doctor didn't seem that concerned. He says a lot of ivf patients spot. Maybe it is the progesterone injections? Did you call your MD? Try not to be to upset (easier said than done) I just experienced this and it turned out OK.
I spotted with my 2nd baby at 12 weeks, over a weekend Friday through Sunday. I put myself on bedrest over the weekend and by sunday afternoon it was gone. Monday ultrasound said everything was okay. Evidently spotting is common and can be from a variety of reasons. Give your doctor a call so he/she can help put your mind at ease that baby is fine. Good luck.
You didn't really say if you were still bleeding but I would probably call your Dr especially given the fact that you miscarried already once. It can't hurt for them to just do a quick check to give you peace of mind! Think Positive!!!

I spotted at 13 week dark brown color out of the blue scared the hell out of me, called the doc said not to worry then it happened again, kinda clotty. We went to the Er and all turned out fine, just old blood my doc said. If it is dark it means old, burgandy means some recent and bright red means current bleeding fresh blood. Spotting is very common in early pg , especially after sex etc... so if it dark please try not to freak out, oh I know easier said then done =)
Just know alot of us have been there and we know how scary it can be, and we still have out lil one kicking away! keep us posted and try and rest dont too much lifting for a few days!

I wonder the same thing if you had sex before you bled like Tanker said. I too spotted around 9 weeks after bd'ing & it scared the h@## out of me but everything was fine so try not to worry like the other ladies have said. There's no sense in worrying until there's something to worry about. Try to keep calm :-))) - jennifer (25 weeks)
