I had to have an update MMR shot one month before starting the IVF cycles, therefore I think you are safe.
sorry... i said holes in his heart.... that wasn't it, they said he could have lesions on his heart which would be surgically removed... (he was born without those)

I did the same thing.
My dr. referred me to a genetics counselor. this was back in 1996. I got the mmr vaccine for college, and they warned me not to get preg. then a week later i found out i was 2 1/2 mos. preg!!!!
i was a wreck.
the genetics councelor told me there was a chance my baby could be deaf, partially deaf, blind, partially blind, or have holes in his heart that could be repaired. i decided i could deal with any or all of that and went forward with the pregnancy
they did a fetal echo cardiogram (i may have been 7 mos. or so) and they looked at his heart while he was inside me. it was amazing... and healthy and strong.
he wasn't blind or deaf, and had no heart issues. I felt very lucky. He does however have a physical defect that he was born with, that started showing at about 3 yrs. old. His sternum is caved in. inverted sternum. (can't prove weather or not it was from the mmr vaccine - but worth noting i think)
He is a very healthy 11 year old boy (he's in my profile picture onthis site with me).
hope this helps! stephanie
