No Fetis or Heartbeat

I thought that I was about 6-8 weeks pregnant and went in for a U/S. The said that I was only about 5 weeks. They could only see a yolk sac and no fetis or heartbeat. They said that that was normal and had me come in a week later for another U/S. Well....still couldn't see a fetis or a heartbeat. The blood work said things look great. All my levels have gone up as expected. My doctor called on friday and said that she had looked at the ultra sound and that she thought I might have a molar pregnancy.
Has anyone had similar experiences????

i had the same thing happen 2ce, and they called it a blighted ovum. both resulted in miscarriage.  (however my hcg levels weren't doubling and were low)

i'm 9 1/2 weeks now, and have a fetus and hb.
