Scared to death

I just found out today that I'm pregnant.  My af is due on Thursday and my hcg came back at 187.  The doctor doesn't want to see me until Monday to take another blood test.  I think I'm going to cheat and go to my regular ob doctor on Thursday to take another test to see if the levels are doubling.  I'm 41 y/o and have had 3 mc in the last year.  My FSH came back a month or so ago at 15 so was told that I would need to use an egg donor if I wanted a baby.  Finding out you're pregnant should be the happiest moment in my life but I'm too afraid to get my hopes up.  I'm also afraid of having something wrong with the baby if it does make it this time around.  Sorry, I guess I'm just venting more than anything.  No one else would understand unless they've been through this.

Hi..wishing you all the best with this pregnancy...My FSH levels were at 11 at the start of the year and took 18mths to conceive. Was told I'd have to go ivf but got lucky in my last attempt, now 10 wks 1 day..I was ( still am ) praying like crazy all will be ok. Good luck and let us know how your 2nd blood test goes!.

I think its perfectly normal to be scared and nervous and anxious - especially when you really want a baby - vent all you want, that's what we are all here for and we have all taken turns venting - good luck and keep us posted
