:-/ there isn't much you can do. Talk to your dr. What helps me- I eat raison bran every morning. It's boring but works!! Also drink more water, you need more than the 8 recommended glasses of water when prego. Eat lots of veggies and fruit. Exercise will help too, even if your just doing a simple walk it will really help.

Try Colace, which is an approved stool softener. Add an apple and or prunes to your daily diet, that should do the trick.

Agree^^ u can even try eating spinach or any dark leafy greens, and prune juice at room temp always does the job for me.

I'm 10 weeks and was extremely constipated last week. My doctor said I can take Miralax when needed. Check with your doctor and see if you can use it. It helped me tremendously. I also ate prunes and drank prune juice. Now I'm taking a stool softener every day. I hope you get some relief soon.

Phillips Milk of magnesia pills, stimulant free, works better than anything else and increase your water intake. I'm on hospital bed rest and it makes it difficult for me to have bm's, but the Philips has been wonderful.Talk to your OB

I had it so bad, I did not call anyone, just went to the pharmacy and bought an enema. It probably was a bad idea but, it worked immediately.

The only thing that's helped me is to limit my milk intake and drink warm lemon water several times a day

Prune juice made me gag. I used something called laxaday.  It's just glycol you mix in water and not a stimulant so it's safe. For me no matter what I ate or drank I got backed up pretty bad. I once resorted to taco bell. Crappy greasy food worked like a charm! Haha
