Just had my 12 week check-up today. I was a nervous wreck this week, but the appointment went well and the baby seems fine. My first baby, now a very healthy 7 year old, also needed 3 pregnancy tests (once a week for 3 weeks) before showing a positive home test. Who knows how accurate those home tests are, even though the companies who market them say they are accurate. Did you get a blood test at your doctor's office? HCG levels in your blood would be a more accurate test for pregnancy.
I have done in the last week 10 test lol...all negative and have seen a doctor today but they said i just need to wait, i have all symptoms off being pregnant, but so scared as i have read a negative test can show that u have a non viable pregnancy. Is your pregnancy going alright now ?
Thanks for rply :)
I was almost three weeks late until the home test finally showed a positive pregnancy. I had to take three tests, each a week apart, until one turned positive. I knew something was up because I'm not usually late. Maybe some women, or some home tests, take more time to show a positive on the test? You may want to consider going to your ob/gyn for a blood test. Good luck!
