Anne - I agree w/Sally. The only way you can get answers to your questions is to talk to a reproductive endocrinologist. He/she will be the best one to evaluate your case to even see if IVF is an option.
I had my tubes tied 15 years ago and got pregnant through IVF last year but I didn't have an ablation either. All I really know about ablation is what Sally said in her post. Lining is definitely an issue in order to get pregnant through IVF. Anyway, good luck to you!
Hi Anne,
I think you would need to talk to a specialist directly to see if this is possible or not.
However I understand that pregnancy is not recommended after ablation, as the lining of the uterus has been severely damaged. I guess they would have to assess whether pregnancy would be possible / safe after your procedure.
Have you considered using a surrogate? I don't know if this is an option for you.
Best wishes
Sally
