BBT temps before AF

Good morning !  I'm charting my bbt and I'm 7 dpo.  I've read that there will be a temp drop prior to AF arriving (hopefully she stays away!), but I'm curious if everyone sees a drop prior to AF; and if so, how low is the drop?  Would it have to go below the coverline to indicate she's coming?  Thanks :)

Thanks to all of you for your posts !  Heather5, I love charting, too.  I've only done it this month, so don't have anything to compare it to, but it's totally opened my eyes :)

Yeah, I think it varies a bit from person to person. I usually get a temp much lower than the previous ones, yet still above my cover line, the day AF shows. Then the next day, it drops below. But the temp on the day I get AF is so much lower that I always know she's on her way.

I love charting.... it really helps me keep track of what's going on with my body :-)

Good luck this month!

Some women's temps crash major (back to pre-o temps)the day b4 or the 1st day of af. My temps are weird and actually shoot up the day af shows then slowly drop. Yes, it would be way below cover line.  Good luck!
