High HCG levels
I had blood drawn to see if there was a chance for DS because of my age. The results came back positive that 1 of 84 births. I was told that wasn't to bad. But my HCG levels are high. Is this something I should worry about? The ultrasounds shows a healthy baby with normal measurements.

My OB says the High HCG levels could mean retardation. Is that true?

I have actually heard that as well, when I was researching what low HCGlevels indicated......  Are you planning on having an amnio?  What weeek are you in?  OH - and how old are you?  And what was your HCG level?

Could you give us some more information?  Did you do the NT test?  If so, what was the NT measurement?  How old are you and how far along are you?

so sorry, I didn't see your other comment.  So I know your age and how far along you are.  Still, did you do the NT test?

Hi:

Here's another chart with HCG levels.  stephie4, I'm curious why they would have 5-50 as normal three weeks in a row?  Seems a bit low...

There is such a wide range.  I wouldn't worry too much about it.
