Thanks you guys.. so nice to have all this support..  I know I have a long road and really I'm just getting started.. I know letting this get me down isn't going to make the situation any better so I'm really trying to just take it as it comes... which really isnt' like me :)  But in this case I really have no choice.  I will keep you all updated... sometimes I feel weird posting about myself but now that i know you all want to know, I will keep you updated for sure.  It really does help me too :)

Thanks again and best of luck to all with your babies, pregnancies and ttc.

Hi Mel n Peek... Don't worry... i'm doing pretty good considering.  I'm able to work from home (laying down of course) and that actually filling up most of my day.  By the time I get my hours in DH is home... My MIL is also here with me for about two weeks.

I had an appt on Tuesday... ther cerclage is holding my cervix closed and it was measuring 1.8cm thick/long.  Which is an improvement.  Right after the cerclage it was measuring 1.5cm.  Ideally they like it around 4cm (I think), but in this case we are glad to get what we can.

I was spotting (pink/mauve not red) and had some other strange discharge going on, but dr said it was fine and that has all stopped now.

I won't be going back to my regular OB... The high risk dr is now my primary OB and I feel really good about that.

I'm trying to stay positive and really not think about long long long road of bedrest ahead of me.. just taking it day by day, week by week...  My hope hope hope is that eventually the cerclage will prove to be doing its job so well that I can get off bedrest.... with some restrictions still of course...  Or atleast be able to pick my son up from daycare in the evenings and take care of him for a couple hours a day...

Thanks for thinking of me... It really is helpful to have my cyber friends... giving me support and helping not go crazy!!  I'll be sure to update you all and let you know how I'm doing... :)
